Survey of supermarkets and wholesale supermarkets. Total sales at current and constant prices, by group of articles and jurisdiction.The main objective of the Supermarket Survey and the Wholesale Self-Service Survey is to measure the evolution of sales to final consumers through both marketing channels and to provide continuous statistical information for the analysis of the situation.As of January 2017, the Supermarket Survey expanded the panel of companies, including new questions to the questionnaire that inquire about the total sales made within the commercial room and through.In addition, total sales are segmented by means of payment in cash, debit card, credit card and other means of payment. Likewise, the expansion of the panel allows the disaggregation of the data collected for the 23 provinces and the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
In parallel, data from a new survey is presented to wholesale self-service companies. This channel is characterized by marketing its wholesale products both directly to final consumers and for resale purposes.The questionnaire applied is the same as that of the supermarket survey and takes into account only those sales with invoices or tickets issued by a person in charge registered to a final consumer, monotributista and or exempt.
