National Institute of Statistics and Census of Argentina

National Statistics and Censuses Institute (Spanish: Instituto Nacional de Estadística y Censos, INDEC) is the Argentine government agency responsible for the collection and processing of statistical data. The institute also analyses economic and social indicators such as inflation rate, consumer price index and unemployment, among others.

Goods registered a variation of 5.9%, while services had a variation of 7.4% with respect to the previous month.

      In March 2023, the Total Sales Index at constant prices shows an increase of 3.8% compared to the same month of 2022. The accumulated January-March 2023 shows an increase of 1.9% compared to the same period of 2022. In March 2023, the seasonally adjusted series index shows a positive variation of 1.3% compared to the previous month and the trend-cycle series index registers a positive variation of 0.3% compared to the previous month.
