New CPI index weights have been computed based on expenditures of both rural and urban households derived from the Fifth Integrated Household Survey (IHS5) which was conducted in 2019/2020. The previous index weights used between January 2018 and December 2021 were based on the Fourth Integrated Household Survey (IHS4) which was conducted in 2016/2017. The new price reference period is December 2021.
