The 12th Arctic Frontiers conference, organized around the theme 'Connecting the Arctic' will address the management of opportunities and challenges to achieve viable economic growth with societal and environmental sustainability. In addition, the conference will include: policy and business programmes; social and cultural, and side events; a Young Scientist Forum; and an Emerging Leaders programme. The conference is expected to attract over 1,300 participants from academia, government, the private sector and non-governmental organizations (NGOs). The Arctic Frontiers secretariat is based at FRAM - High North Research Centre for Climate and the Environment, in Tromsø, Norway.
