Data on monthly statistics are collected by standard questionnaires according to Annex C of the Regulation (EC) No 1099/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2008 on energy statistics   SHORT-TERM MONTHLY Short-term monthly energy data collections cover the most important energy commodities: Oil & petroleum productsNatural gasElectricity Short-term monthly data provides information on main flows (quantities) on the supply side. Monthly data on crude oil imports by oil type in Japan.

 This section covers statistical data pertaining to production and uses of crude oil, natural gas and minerals. Crude oil data reflects the quantity of production and exports according to the producer and quantities sold to the Oman Refinery Co.In addition, the data reflects crude oil exports by importing countries. It also includes data on Oman Oil Refinery classified by production and sales of each product. The section contains data also on quantities and prices of local deliveries of petroleum products according to product and Governorate. Natural gas data reflects quantities produced as per type and use . Data on other minerals gives the value & quantities of sales and exports by Oman Mining Company as per product and main importing countries.

Short-term monthly energy data collections cover the most important energy commodities: Oil & petroleum productsNatural gasElectricity Short-term monthly data provides information on main flows (quantities) on the supply side. The data collection covers the full spectrum of the 28 Member States of the European Union, EFTA country Norway, candidate countries (the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Iceland, and Turkey). Data on monthly short term statistics are collected by standard questionnaires according to Annex D of the Regulation (EC) No 1099/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 22 October 2008 on energy statistics (this questionnaire is shared with the IEA, OECD, UNECE, OPEC, OLADE, APEC, IEFS and corresponds to the so-called Joint Oil Data Initiative, short-named JODI questionnaire). A combination of business surveys and other sources are used e.g. customs data for imports and exports or census including all producing enterprises.

Annual data collection cover in principle the EU Member States, EFTA, EU candidate countries, and potential candidate countries. Time series starts mostly in year 1990.
